Coach transfer to Dublin Airport picking up in Sprucefield and Portadown. You will Depart Dublin at 2.10pm arriving in Catania at 6.50pm – Sicily is one hour ahead of GMT.  Transfer to your hotel in Cefalu approximately 2.5 hours away so it is best to grab a bite at the airport and on your flight.  Light bites available on arrival. The hotel is conveniently connected to the historic centre through the State Road 113, the hilly ring road and the city waterfront which can be accessed by a special staircase. It is possible to take advantage of the urban bus stop located in front of the reception.

The hotel consists of three multi-storey buildings connected to each other, all equipped with elevators and large terraces that invite you to admire the wonderful coastal panorama.

From the staircase you can also access the underlying beach equipped for heliotherapy, with very fine and golden sand, where you can take a healthy bath in the crystal-clear waters while admiring the characteristic cliffs and the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation. Alternatively, there is a large swimming pool.  You are based here for your 7-night stay

International buffet breakfast at hotel.  After breakfast set off on a tour of Cefalu’ and Madonie Park with lunch at a local farmhouse included. This trip involves 1-2 hours of walking with an English-speaking licensed guide.  Cefalu is a fascinating fishing village which stems from Arab-Norman times. Return to hotel for 3 course evening meal.  Overnight at hotel.

Day trip to Mt Etna and Taormina.

 Mt Etna is Europes tallest active volcano.  On route along the Etna wine route you will get to taster all of the regional excellences at a local farmhouse – wine, honey, pistachio and olive oil. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Free day to enjoy the hotel and relax. 

22 September 2025

Breakfast at hotel. Palermo and Monreale excursion, Palermo is an eclectic mic of architectural styles form Byzantine mosaics to Arab-Normal palaces.  Walk through it bustling markets and experience the aromas of Sicilian cuisine.  Finish your day at the fantastic Monreale Cathedral for a short tour.

Relax at the hotel. Depart hotel at approximately 2.30pm for return flight from Catania at 7.40pm.  Arrive Dublin Airport at 10.30pm. Coach transfer home, stopping at Portadown and Sprucefield.
